Accessibility Statement
This site should work for everyone who needs it. Here is where we stand, honestly.

Our commitment
People come to this site at hard moments, sometimes using a screen reader, sometimes with a tremor, sometimes on a phone in a parking lot. It should work for all of them. We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA, the standard referenced by the Americans with Disabilities Act and by Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act.
Where we stand today
We test this site with automated accessibility tooling (axe-core, WCAG 2.1 A and AA rulesets) across every page, at desktop and mobile widths. As of the date above, those checks report no violations.
We want to be straightforward about what that does and does not mean: automated testing reliably catches roughly a third to a half of accessibility problems. It cannot judge whether our wording is clear, whether a reading order makes sense, or whether the site is genuinely usable with a screen reader end to end. We have not yet completed a full manual audit or testing with people who use assistive technology daily. Until we have, we describe this as a partial conformance claim, not a certification.
What we have built in
- A “skip to content” link as the first stop on every page.
- Keyboard access throughout, with a visible focus outline on every interactive element.
- Text and interface colors tested against the 4.5:1 contrast floor.
- Text alternatives for images; decorative artwork hidden from screen readers.
- Form fields with real labels, and errors announced rather than shown by color alone.
- Headings in a logical order, and page language declared — including on our Spanish and Vietnamese pages.
- Respect for your reduced motion setting: if your device asks for less motion, the animated voyage and the background video do not play.
- Layouts that reflow to 320px and tolerate 200% zoom.
Known gaps we are working on
- Manual screen-reader testing (NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver) is not yet complete.
- Embedded third-party content — the client portal, maps, and videos — is outside our control and may not meet the same standard.
- Our Spanish and Vietnamese pages are awaiting native-speaker review.
