Movement Psychotherapy Services
Terms of Use
What this website is, what it isn’t, and where to turn if you need help right now.
Effective July 30, 2026 · Movement Psychotherapy Services, LLC
What these terms cover
These terms govern your use of movementpsych.co. They do not govern clinical care. If you become a client, your care is governed by the informed-consent and practice agreements you sign at intake, and by our Notice of Privacy Practices under HIPAA. Where anything here appears to conflict with those documents, those documents control.
This website is not medical care, and not an emergency service
Everything on this site is general information about our practice. It is not psychotherapy, not a diagnosis, not medical advice, and not a substitute for care from a licensed professional. Reading it does not create a therapist–client relationship, and neither does sending us a form, an email, or a voicemail.
Do not use this website in an emergency. If you are in crisis or thinking about harming yourself or someone else, call or text 988 (the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, 24/7), call 911, or go to your nearest emergency room. We do not monitor this website, our forms, or our inbox around the clock, and we cannot respond to emergencies through them.
A therapist–client relationship begins only when we both agree
Contacting us is an inquiry, not an engagement. A professional relationship begins only after we have spoken, confirmed that we are an appropriate fit, confirmed we are licensed to work with you in your state, and completed intake paperwork together. Until then, please do not rely on us for care.
Using our forms responsibly
Our forms ask you not to include medical, mental-health, or other sensitive details, and we mean it — email and web forms are not the right channel for that information. Please also: give accurate contact details, do not submit on someone else’s behalf without their knowledge, and do not use our forms to send advertising, automated submissions, or anything unlawful. We may decline or block submissions that abuse these terms.
Licensure and where we can practice
Our clinicians are licensed in New Mexico and, where indicated, Texas. Psychotherapy is regulated state by state: we can generally provide care only to people physically located in a state where the treating clinician is licensed at the time of the session. Information on this site is not an offer to practice anywhere we are not licensed.
Fees, insurance, and estimates
Fee and insurance information on this site is general and may change. Coverage depends on your specific plan and benefits, which we verify with you directly — nothing here is a guarantee of coverage or of a particular cost. If you are uninsured or not using insurance, you have the right to a Good Faith Estimate under the No Surprises Act; ask us and we will provide one before you begin.
Our content
The text, photographs, artwork, and design on this site belong to Movement Psychotherapy Services, LLC or are used with permission. Please do not copy or republish them without our written permission. Team photographs are published with each person’s consent and may not be reused.
Links and services we do not control
We link to services we do not operate — our client portal, maps, and video hosting among them. We are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices, and linking is not an endorsement. Their terms and privacy policies govern your use of them.
Availability
We try to keep this site accurate and available, but we cannot promise it will always be online, error-free, or current. We may change or remove content at any time.
Limits on liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Movement Psychotherapy Services, LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this website. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited — including liability relating to professional services actually provided to you as a client, which is governed by your care agreements and applicable New Mexico law, not by this page.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Mexico, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute about this website will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Bernalillo County, New Mexico.
Changes
If we update these terms, we will change the effective date above. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
